   investigating
   Sitecore, the cloud resource which hosts www.uchicago.edu, bursar.uchicago.edu, safety-security.uchicago.edu, and the Intranet, among others, is currently unavailable. IT Services has contacted the vendor and is working to identify the source of the problem. Note that this also means connections to Workday and Oracle via the Intranet are also unavailable (direct bookmarks to Workday or Oracle internal pages still work).

   As of 3:30 p.m. Sitecore and the websites it hosts are up and functioning normally. IT Services will continue monitoring closely and work to prevent any recurrence.

   resolved
   Sitecore experienced one or two more brief outages after 3:30, but as of 5 p.m., IT Services is confident that the cause of the interruptions has been identified and mitigated, and the hosted websites should now be stable.
