   We are currently experiencing an unplanned outage affecting the eCBSV module due to SSA responses, resulting in 5xx errors. Socure has contacted the vendor to investigate the issue and determine when service is expected to be restored.

   SSA experienced a service-impacting event that affected multiple applications and services, including the Electronic Consent Based Social Security Number Verification (eCBSV) service. The disruption began at approximately 10:19AM (ET) on October 15, 2026, and was resolved at approximately 10:41AM (ET). Service has been restored, and eCBSV is operating normally at this time.
