Timeline
- Nov 4, 2026, 11:59 UTCinvestigatingWe are currently investigating an issue affecting multiple services in the Azure EU region. During this time, users may experience errors when retrieving content through the Content Delivery API and GraphQL Delivery API, failures or delays when publishing content (including scheduled publishes, bulk actions, and release deployments), and delays in webhook delivery. Other regions remain unaffected. Our engineering team has been mobilized and is actively working to identify the root cause and restore normal service. We understand the impact this may have on your operations and are treating this with the highest priority. Customer Action: No action is required from customers at this time. We will share our next update as soon as we have more information. If you encounter any difficulties accessing our services, please reach out to our Contentstack Support for assistance at [email protected].
- Nov 4, 2026, 12:00 UTCidentifiedThe root cause of the issue affecting multiple services in the Azure EU region has been identified: one of our primary database servers ran into a problem, and publishing activity stalled as a result. Requests to the Content Delivery API Sync endpoint also stalled, because that endpoint depends on the same database to create sync tokens. Our engineering team has moved traffic to a healthy database server, and services are now recovering. We are still investigating the underlying cause of the server issue. Other regions remain unaffected. Customer Action: If any publish requests or Content Delivery API Sync calls did not complete during this period, Please continue to avoid republishing the same entries repeatedly while this issue is ongoing. We will share our next update as soon as we have more information. If you encounter any difficulties accessing our services, please reach out to our Contentstack Support for assistance at [email protected].
- Nov 4, 2026, 13:16 UTCidentifiedWe are continuing to work on the issue affecting services in the Azure EU region. Our investigation indicates that a long-running background data operation is placing heavy load on our content delivery infrastructure, and publish requests are queuing up as a result. During this time, users may continue to experience delays or failures when publishing content (including scheduled publishes, bulk actions, and release deployments), errors on some Content Delivery API, GraphQL Delivery API, and Sync requests, and delays in webhook delivery. Our engineering team is actively working to reduce the load and clear the publishing backlog. We understand the impact this may have on your operations and are treating this with the highest priority. Customer Action: Please delay republishing the same entries repeatedly while this issue is ongoing. Queued publish requests will be processed as service recovers. We will share our next update as soon as we have more information. If you encounter any difficulties accessing our services, please reach out to our Contentstack Support for assistance at [email protected].
- Nov 4, 2026, 14:14 UTCidentifiedWe are continuing to see intermittent publishing delays in the Azure EU region. Our engineering team is working to stabilize the affected infrastructure and is also clearing publish jobs that became stuck in the publish queue during this incident. Some publish requests may remain pending or take longer than usual to complete until this work is finished. We understand the impact this may have on your operations and are treating this with the highest priority. Customer Action: If you see publish jobs that appear stuck in your publish queue, there is no need to resubmit them. Our team is working to clear them. Please continue to avoid republishing the same entries repeatedly while this issue is ongoing. We will share our next update as soon as we have more information.
