   Mail is slower than usual. Sending is delayed, and some messages fail to send. Attachment uploads are slow. Notifications and Auto Labels can be delayed. We stopped the change that caused the extra load. A change that lowers the remaining load is merged and waiting to deploy. Sync that already started is still running, so the slowdown continues.

   The change that lowers the load is in production. Sending is still delayed. Notifications and Auto Labels can still be late. Mail stays slow while the backlog clears.

   The system is still recovering. New mail can arrive a few minutes late for Gmail accounts. Notifications and Auto Labels for that mail can be late too. Outlook accounts are up to date. We are watching the system until it fully recovers.

   This incident is resolved. Mail delivery, sending, notifications, and Auto Labels are working normally for Gmail and Outlook accounts. Mail that arrived during the incident was delivered late, and we found no lost mail. We're sorry for the disruption. Thank you for your patience.
