   investigating
   IST is aware second network interruption on the third floor of EC2. The network switch for that floor suffered a critical software exception and required a reload. The switch software will be upgraded in an attempt to prevent future crashes. The target time to resolution is 1:00 PM.
2. Apr 8, 2026, 17:31 UTC
   resolved
   Network service was restored around 12:45 PM. Crash mitigations were put in place so that the switch can be safely upgraded in a future maintenance window.
